Master Of Vishwaroopam Statues
In a quiet workshop filled with the scent of sandalwood and kadam wood, Mohit Jangid embarked on one of his most challenging and awe-inspiring creations: the Vishwaroopam statue. A customer had requested a piece capturing the powerful moment when Lord Krishna revealed his Vishvarupa (cosmic form) to Arjun during the Mahabharata, as told in the Gita Upadesha. This pivotal moment symbolizes the profound themes of action, truth, and duty.
For Mohit, this statue was more than an artistic challenge—it was a spiritual journey. Using sandalwood and kadam wood, he meticulously crafted 11 faces of Lord Mahavishnu, each expressing a unique emotion, from calm to fierce. These faces represented the vastness of the cosmos and the divine complexity of the universe.
Mohit's incredible skill and deep understanding of the spiritual significance breathed life into the Vishwaroopam statue, transforming it into more than a work of art. It became a reminder of the eternal struggle between righteousness and duty, crafted with unmatched precision and devotion. Today, Mohit Jangid is recognized as an expert in Vishwaroopam, having created many of these masterpieces in various sizes, each as captivating as the last.
